Refurbished Jura Coffee Machines Delivered to Sydney & NSW

Short answer: Yes — Chameleon Coffee ships refurbished Jura machines from our Melbourne workshop to Sydney and right across NSW, insured with signature on delivery. There’s no Sydney showroom, but every machine arrives tested, photographed and video-checked beforehand, backed by a 12-month warranty with freight both ways on accepted claims.

Key facts

  • Flat $50 insured freight to Sydney and most of NSW ($80 for GIGA and XJ9 models), 2–5 business days to metro addresses.
  • 12-month warranty on the rebuilt internals, with freight both ways if a claim is accepted.
  • Photos of your actual machine, plus a short video of it running, sent before it’s dispatched.
  • 14-day change-of-mind returns; Afterpay and PayPal Pay in 4 on machines up to $2,000.
  • Recent NSW deliveries: Sydney, Wollongong and the Illawarra, Port Stephens and the Hunter, the Central Tablelands, and the Queanbeyan region.

Most second hand Jura coffee machines you’ll find locally are tired ex-café units or Marketplace listings with no warranty attached. A refurbished Jura coffee machine from Chameleon Coffee is a different proposition: every machine is stripped, rebuilt and pressure-tested in our Melbourne workshop before it’s boxed and sent to you — and NSW is where a lot of those machines end up. A Jura coffee machine buyer in Sydney converts on this range more often than any other state, even without a local showroom to walk into. This page covers what an interstate buyer needs to know: delivery cost and timing, what you’ll see before the machine leaves Melbourne, how the warranty holds up from another state, and which model suits your kitchen.

How delivery to Sydney and NSW works

We don’t have a Sydney showroom — the workshop, and every refurbished Jura in stock, is in Melbourne. That’s not a drawback for buying a used Jura coffee machine in NSW so much as how the whole range is set up to be sold: every machine is boxed properly, insured, and sent by courier with a signature required on delivery, the same as it would be for a Melbourne customer.

Freight is a flat $50 per machine, or $80 for the larger GIGA and XJ9 models, and that covers Sydney metro and most regional NSW addresses — Wollongong and the Illawarra, Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter, the Central Tablelands and the Queanbeyan region have all had machines delivered recently. Our collection page quotes 2–5 business days to metro areas once a machine is dispatched. If your address is genuinely remote, freight can occasionally cost more than the flat rate; if that’s the case, we’ll contact you with the difference before the machine ships, and you’re free to cancel for a full refund if you’d rather not proceed.

What you’ll see before your machine ships

These are refurbished machines, not new ones, and we’d rather you know exactly what’s coming than be surprised by it. Before dispatch, we send photos of the actual machine you’re buying — not a stock photo — showing any marks or cosmetic wear on the casing. We also send a short video of it running, so you can see and hear it actually making coffee before it leaves Melbourne. A machine that’s been rebuilt properly will still look like it’s had a life: expect some cosmetic wear consistent with a used appliance, not a machine we’d describe as immaculate or “like new”. What we can promise is that the internals have been through our full refurbishment process, not just a wipe-down.

Your warranty, serviced from Melbourne

Buying interstate raises an obvious question: what happens if something goes wrong once the machine’s ten hours down the highway from the workshop? Every refurbished Jura comes with a 12-month warranty covering the parts that actually fail on these machines — brew unit, pumps, boiler, ceramic valve, sensors, grinder, seals and water circuit. It doesn’t cover the external milk frother attachment or externals like the drip tray, water tank and covers.

If you do need to make a claim, freight both ways is covered while the claim is accepted, so being in Sydney or regional NSW rather than Melbourne doesn’t cost you anything extra to get it looked at. Call us on 0431 852 898 first and we’ll talk you through it — a lot of what looks like a fault turns out to be a descale or a setting, and we can usually tell over the phone before you send anything back.

Which refurbished Jura suits your household

All of these ship to NSW with the same warranty and delivery terms — the difference is mostly how many milk drinks you make and how big the household is. Prices aren’t listed here as they move around; each product page has the current figure.

ModelGood fit if…
Jura E6You want a simple, reliable daily flat white or long black machine without a long feature list.
Jura E8You want our most popular refurbished model — a colour display and one-touch milk drinks for everyday use.
Jura Z6You want a step up from the E-line, with a wider drink menu for a busier household.
Jura S8Milk drinks are the priority — lattes and cappuccinos, made one-touch.
Jura Z8You want a higher-spec all-rounder with Jura’s full drink menu on tap.
Jura Z9You want near-flagship performance for a household that gets through a lot of coffee.
Jura Z10You want Jura’s current flagship and the widest drink range available.
Jura J9.2You’re moving to an automatic machine for the first time and want the most accessible starting price in our refurbished range.

Not sure which of these fits? Our Jura model picker guide goes through it in more detail, or you can browse the full refurbished Jura range and compare them side by side.

Returns and how you can pay

If a machine isn’t right for you, you’ve got 14 days to change your mind: you pay the return shipping, the original delivery charge isn’t refunded, and a restocking fee of up to 15% applies. It’s not a no-questions-asked policy, but it means an interstate purchase isn’t a one-way door either.

On the payment side, Afterpay and PayPal Pay in 4 are both available on machines up to $2,000, so a lot of this range can be paid off in instalments at checkout (we don’t currently offer Zip).

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Chameleon Coffee showroom in Sydney?

No — the workshop and all of our stock are in Melbourne. There’s no showroom to visit in Sydney or anywhere else in NSW, but every machine ships insured with a signature required on delivery, and you’re welcome to call 0431 852 898 with any questions before you buy.

How much does delivery to Sydney and NSW cost?

Freight is a flat $50 per machine, or $80 for the larger GIGA and XJ9 models. That covers Sydney metro and most regional NSW addresses. If you’re in a genuinely remote area and freight would cost more than that, we’ll contact you with the difference before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund if you’d rather not go ahead.

How long does delivery take?

Our collection page quotes 2–5 business days to metro areas once your machine is dispatched from Melbourne.

Will my refurbished Jura look brand new?

No — these are used machines, and they’ll show some cosmetic wear. Before your machine ships we send photos of the actual unit, marks and all, plus a short video of it running, so there are no surprises. We won’t describe a refurbished machine as immaculate or “like new” — what we will say is that the internals have been properly rebuilt.

What does the 12-month warranty cover if I’m in NSW?

The same as it covers anywhere: the rebuilt internals — brew unit, pumps, boiler, ceramic valve, sensors, grinder, seals and water circuit. It doesn’t cover the external milk frother or externals like the drip tray, water tank and covers. If a claim’s accepted, freight both ways is covered, so being interstate doesn’t add to the cost of getting it looked at.

Can I return it if it’s not right for me?

Yes — you’ve got 14 days to change your mind. You pay the return shipping, the original delivery charge isn’t refunded, and a restocking fee of up to 15% applies.

Can I pay it off over time?

Afterpay and PayPal Pay in 4 are both available at checkout on machines up to $2,000. We don’t currently offer Zip.
