Refurbished coffee machines in Melbourne: second-hand Jura, rebuilt and warranted
Short answer: we sell refurbished – properly rebuilt, not just cleaned – second-hand Jura automatic coffee machines from our workshop in Melbourne’s west. Twenty-seven models from $549, up to 60% off new RRP, each with a new brew unit and every seal renewed, bench-tested with real coffee and covered by a 12-month warranty. You see photos and a short video of your actual machine before it ships, pick it up free from Point Cook or have it delivered anywhere in Melbourne for $50 insured, and you can trade in your old machine for $200 off.
- 27 refurbished Jura models in the range, from the compact ENA Micro A1 at $449 to office GIGAs, most between $549 and $1,949 at the time of writing.
- Every machine gets a new brew unit, every seal and O-ring renewed, pumps resealed and pressure tested, sensors tested, grinder recalibrated – then it is run with real coffee before it is listed.
- 12-month warranty on the rebuilt internals, honoured by the technicians who did the work. Freight both ways is covered on accepted claims.
- Free local pickup from Point Cook, or $50 insured freight with signature on delivery ($80 for GIGA models), usually 2–5 business days.

What refurbished means here
Refurbished is not a protected word, and on Marketplace it usually means a wipe-down and a descale. Ours means the machine has been through the same rebuild every time: the brew unit is replaced; every seal and O-ring is renewed; the steam assembly is refitted with new seals; the pumps are resealed and pressure tested, and replaced if they are not performing; sensors are tested for correct resistance; the ceramic valve is pressure tested; the grinder is recalibrated with new brushes, or replaced if extraction is still not right; the boilers are descaled and flushed; the water circuit and flow control are stripped of debris; the whole system is flushed; and the machine is cleaned and vacuumed out. Then it is run with real coffee before sign-off – which is why a few grounds may still be in the hopper channel when it arrives. The full list is on our refurbishment process page.
Cosmetics, honestly
These are used machines and they show it: marks on the case, a scuffed drip tray, a worn cup grille. We photograph every machine before dispatch and send you the photos, marks included, along with a short video of it running. If you would rather not have the marks, buy new. If you would rather have a Swiss machine with fresh internals for half the price, this is the way to do it.
Refurbished vs a private sale in Melbourne
| Marketplace / Gumtree | Refurbished from us | |

| Testing | Your five minutes at pickup | Rebuilt, pressure tested, run with coffee |
| Warranty | None | 12 months on the internals |
| Consumer law | Does not apply | Applies |
| When it fails | Your problem | Ours – freight both ways on accepted claims |
| Price | Lower, before the service it needs | Higher, with the work already done |
